Dear Fellow Members,
I know what y’all are thinking – “What does he want now?!”
I know you have received a lot of emails from me over the past couple of months, and I am probably becoming as annoying as all those Medicare enrollment ads that are everywhere this time of year, but I wanted to reach out to you today to offer a gentle reminder about the Coworkers' Holiday Fund.
Your generosity each year is one of the clearest reflections of who we are as a community. It is more than a tradition. It is a way of acknowledging the people who welcome us, serve us, maintain our facilities, prepare our meals, care for our golf course, and create the daily experiences that make Conestoga feel like home.
Last year, our members contributed more than $31,000 to the fund, and the impact on our staff and their families was truly meaningful. The smiles, gratitude, and relief this support creates each December cannot be overstated. Once again, every dollar contributed goes directly to our employees, with distribution based on performance and tenure. It is a sincere expression of thanks to a team that shows up for us in every season.
If you have already made your contribution, thank you. Your support helps sustain the strong culture of appreciation that defines our club. If you have not yet had the opportunity, there is still time. Donations may be submitted through the electronic form link below or by dropping your gift off in the Golf Shop. Contributions will be accepted through Sunday, December 14.
On behalf of the Board of Governors, thank you for considering a gift and for continuing to support the people who bring our club to life each and every day.
Warm regards,
Chris Naftzger
President, Board of Governors
